Re: Office interiors

Nice work!

Re: Office interiors

WOW nice render. can u share with us ur render setting ( visopt) please ;D ;D ;D

Re: Office interiors

sure thing! when i finish the second render i will but meanwhile i can tell you
i used QMC and IR render engines, physical camera shutter speed 60, iso 400 and f-number 8
but that was when i had this very large room and lots of light bounces, that render was 17 hour long! so i modified the settings since then and reduced render time to 4 hours but with different camera settings and less subdivisions and noise threshold. with the long time render i used 32 subdivisions and .005 of noise threshold and with the improved model (4 hour render) i used 16 subdivisions and .01 noise threshold, also changed camera settings to iso 300, shutter speed 125 and f-number 9 because i erased alot of geometry and spaces. when i pay again my rapidshare account i will upload the model

Re: Office interiors

very dramatic lighting. love it nektares.

Re: Office interiors

great render man!

is this 17 hours in your quaddies?
QMC really takes lots of your rendering time.
i wonder how long will it take on my duos.

Re: Office interiors

nektares im really impressed with the quality maybe more noise than your kitchen before… but if you are usig quad and you are rendering for 17 hours its not ok specially if you are already working in a architectural firm where time is more important than quality…

but still thumbs up bro… try to change your setting lets say lessen the sabdivs and add some more rec light ??? ::slight_smile:

Re: Office interiors

thanks nomeradona and migz. yes santos! its because there is no rectangular light at all! i think adding one will make my bump maps look better, i tried to not use artificial lighting at all but the room was very dark and big and i had a very sensitive exposure… i came up with better results after fixing the model but they are not quite ready yet, i will try that rec light! meanwhile i show a preview here  this one was 16 subdivs and took only 4 hours to render but i will make it with 32 and fixed lighting. cheers! and thanks for the c&c.

and i dont have a core quad yet! the guy that puts together my pc`s told me that the octocore was about to come out, so i decided to wait a little longer, i still have my athlon64 with 2gb ram :frowning: yeah, it sucks, i can watch how the grass grows while i render..

oh yeah! here is the preview
i know it looks like its done with sand but it was only a test i will calculate the final one today. i hope the mother board can take it :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Office interiors *Update

currently working on the sencond shot

Re: Office interiors *Update

Great man! Loose the QMC man and maybe you will have a nice surprise! You will lose that way that noise and the long render time. Just give it a try! IM and LC.
