Old Render Settings incompatibility

I have been using this settings for render for quite some time now (I found them here on the forum :-[ and I am ashamed to tell that I don’t remember the author for it). Ever since I tried it on the new release I am having a black screen though. I tried to fix it myself but when the physical camera comes in the equation everything just behaves irradicaly. A total caos for me

Is there any way we can make these settings compitable? Or maybe someone can hint me what the problem is and I will try n fix it

Re: Old Render Settings incompatibility

It has been 5 hours and I’ve tried everything. There must be something that I am missing..

Re: Old Render Settings incompatibility

confirmed, black render… I’ll add it to the list.

Re: Old Render Settings incompatibility

so there is no way we could repair these settings :-\ to work with the new vray?

Re: Old Render Settings incompatibility

The problem of the setting is that have a gayout path in the “Output” rollout that doesn’t exist in your hard drive.
To fix that:
Steps
1. Go to “output” tab
2. enable the “Render output” save file and remove the file path there.
3. Disable the “Render output” “save file” option back
4. done

Best

OMG…

Thank you :))) I tried everything basicly. I changed and tried different indirect illumination scenarios but since the render output was not clicked I assumed that setting would not effect

Thank you again & again Fpedrogo

Re: Old Render Settings incompatibility

That’s a pretty odd bug, so I’m adding it to our bug list. I don’t like that it gives you a blank output without any warning or error message.
