I am disperated…I know there’s a lot od topics about this; I read them all…but I did not achieve it yet!
If I use a standard material with vray the opacity does not occur and seems simple plane.
I need to obtain the effect of a metal chain on plane. I created an alpha channel of my image…
I treid out also a refract map but the the render image appears not clear…it seems affected by brackgrounds colours…
What shall I do?

Hi try this use a vray mat put our opacitymap in the refraction option set the ior to 1.0
obs! you might have to invert the opacity map in the opacity map output options.

I have to say that there isn’t to many directions for vray help but here can you find alot of information on vray i asume you already know it.
But you always has the forum to lean on i have learnd most here.
