[OT] Max question - what shortcut for Select Object cursor?

Hi Guys,
call me stupid or whatnot, but I can’t seem to figure out what the predefined hotkey, or the name of the object is for the Select Object cursor in Max… Please don’t laugh!

repeadetly pressing Q will cycle through the various selection modes as well.

BTW: Help > Hotkey Map…

Q… the first alpha key on the keyboard.

If you take a closer look on the shortcuts’ list, you will see that by default
“Q” is assigned to the so called < Smart Selection > which includes the cycling of the crossing type. I myself find that disturbing in most of the cases, as the basic rectangular type is used in 85% of the cases.

So, you can remove that “Q” from the Smart Selection, and assign it just to the normal " Select tool ". Of course, that’s just my POV, and if you need some of the other types you can always do it manually.
