The advantage is we can use the procedural skies which is a huge plus especially in some generic Natural environments. Skybox backgrounds are often too fixed for the design environment and usefulness for design sets Enscape apart from other rendering products.

In general it would be best to have a variety of generic Natural environments, as they are more useful in the design process, as opposed to Urban environments which are too related to a specific location. Maybe there could be mix and match of Distant features with Foreground features?

Is it possible to have NO horizon option at all? like a continuous blue sky or a pure white background without the obvious horizon line that we have to post-process out. Thanks!

More fixed environments like lakes or ocean waterfront in the Sky Horizon preset. Also more Mountain or rolling hills environments. A preset with ocean all around would also be great. This would be better for on the fly design using the procedural skies sun etc. Would be good to have more control over the brightness of the horizon presets also.
