Panorama for Vray Cameras

I need to render out a panorama of a scene for a client, but I cant find where to do this…The Render Panorama under utilities won;t let me use a vray camera.

Thanx

ya its been mentioned several times. You have to use standard cameras for now.

Today must be “No Search” day or something… sheesh

You could always keyframe the physcam to rotate and then stitch it just like real camera.

Grrrrrrr

I am currently also fighting with this one.
Here is my best result, so far:

(*) Create a Standard Camera.
(*) Don’t touch any of your lights (VRaySun, or VRayLights) which are set to be OK for your VRayPhyCam.
(*) Just lower the Color Mapping multiplier until you get the same result.
Several tests will bring it to your appeal.
(*) Use the VRay::Camera Override options and render a Spherical Camera with FOV = 360.
(*) DONE !

So far the MAIN disadvantage is:

(*) Keep in mind the WB (White Balance) corrections in your VRayPhyCam. You might need to do those in post in order to get the same result.
(*) Lack of vignetting.

Well you’d hardly want vignetting in a spherical panorama anyway so not that much of a problem

nikki, i developed a solution for this. Let me know if you want to have a look at it

Hi Jacks02,
i would be interested in your solution too, if you would be kind enough to share it.
Thanks
Vivek

Sure Chris…
But mind i need a 6 side panorama, not a 4 side… a whole 360 degrees one.

Let me know.

ah right, im still working on that one
