I dont know if this topic is posted earlier.. i have never seen PAUSE button activated while rendering.. i wonder why this button is given? it will be really nice to get this activated.. so that rendering can be paused in case of emergencies, as it is really difficult to browse computer when rendering is on.. 
We have discussed this eariler at some point; unfortunately we can’t use the standard 3ds Max “pause” button, due to the way it is implemented in 3ds Max. We might be able to think of something else though…

mm.. bump on this.. I see it’s available for RT when right clicked, but CPU still can’t be paused.
