Pause render and continue later again

i hope there will be an option to pause render and continue again later or auto save option for power loss and continue again after electric comes again.

Now i’m rendering an a3 size scene with very high settings and other site of my street has power loss. i am afraid of if mine goes or not :frowning: Please solve it. it can be a really life saver.

I guess it’s called a ‘Wishlist’ as some things we can only ever wish for…

An other solution could be to buy an USV device. So, the power lost would cause an alarm and the computer goe’s in hypernation/stand-by mode. I’m not sure it will work, but in the past I rendered an image, sent the PC to stand-by and later the rendering was still running.

Resumable rendering is something the developers would like to implement later on. Should be able to give you more info about it when future updates are discussed.
