PDF export/render

Export/tender to PDF format would be great, with layers, like:

  1. background transparency,

  2. shadows separated,

  3. additional assets separated,

  4. light gain (or such)…

It could speed up, upgrade quality, and significantly contribute to final composting of images…

(Or, maybe layered TIFF could be used…?!)

@komlenic , thanks a lot for your feedback! Layered .PDF or .TIFF output should both work, so do you have a preference? Let me know and I’ll gladly file your wish as a dedicated feature request.

Also, could you please briefly give me an example or short description regarding what you mean by “light gain” for better understanding? Thank you in advance.

I think thar PSD sounds best! Than I would rate PDF, and TIFF at the last place. That rank would respond to overall format popularity…

PSDs smaller file size.

Pardon, but could you still please briefly explain what you mean by ‘light gain’? Afterward I’ll file the feature request as mentioned.

Those are awesome options that the PDF export should have, how did I not think about it sooner? I always struggle with those scanning apps that do a shitty job with the brightness level. I just found this application form for a chick-fil-a job https://pdfliner.com/chick_fil_a_job_application cause let’s be honest with this pandemic I’ll accept whatever job I can get. It’s a nice site cause I was able to fill the form directly on there without needing to print it and scan, cause that’s when I could use a brightness changing option.

Forwarded your upvote as well, thanks and welcome to our Enscape Forum!
