PhoenixLiquid disappear when applied Edit Mesh modifier

Hi everyone,
I try to render beach wave in Vantage. So I use the example scene on phoenix docs, link here
But when I applied Edit Mesh modifier, PhoenixLiquid disappeared.

So, do you have any idea to solve this problem?

I fixed it by ticking the Show Mesh option.
