Is the approach in the video achievable in corona or any other renderer?
If you’re asking about strobes, then no, renderers doesn’t have such concept. You can’t control strobe / ambient light ratio with camera parameters, you can do that only by changing the light output itself. Other than that, Corona camera works like real world thing, changing aperture, ISO and shutter speed will affect exposure, DOF and motion blur in physically plausible way.
