when in a perspective viewport you can hit ctrl-c to create a MAX camera of the current view. Would it be possible (or is it already and I don’t know) to have some kind of function that does the same thing only creates a vray physical camera?
If you go to the perspective view, create a VRayPhysicalCamera anywhere and *then* (with the camera still selected) hit ctrl+c. This aligns the newly created camera with the current (perspective) view.

I did search, just not hard enough I guess. I know where you’re comming from though, I see the same friggin posts all the time on cgarchitect. Hey at least I’m not asking for your “lighting setup”!
