I remember a few times when Vlado has said that he’s not been able to do a few things because of Pixar owning patents on some subdiv technologies. With this recent announcement by Pixar to make their subdiv technology released does this bode well for some new technologies in Vray? OpenSub…

Already available somewhat in max? Semi sharp creases feature at least. TurboSmooth Pro | Marius Silaghi's Store TurboSmooth Pro is a modifier plugin for 3ds Max which produces nice smooth semi-sharp creases on your models, unlike the ugly creases that the standard TurboSmooth produces…

[image] Reminder, Vray exposure in nitrous viewport? But will the native V-Ray subdivisions be Catmul-Clark compatible? In the recent nightlies, there is an option to make them Catmul-Clark compatible, though in most cases, the differences are negligible. We still don’t support creasing though…
