plans for upgrading my vray 2 licenses

I have some vray 2 licenses and I would like to update them to vray 3.6. I have also an offer and that’s all fine, BUT are there plans about the next release of vray that have to be paid? I think this would be version 4.0… so if I upgrade now to vray 3.6, is it worth it because there will be version x.7, x.8, x.9 and then 4, or should I wait… because I don’t want to pay the upgrade twice within a short time…

Hey there,

The upgrade to V-Ray 3 for 3ds Max includes all previous and upcoming 3.x service packs. I’m afraid we don’t have any information about the next major version release date yet.
