Ok…Decided to play around with a night time shot…Then the client saw it and wanted one…So now I must really learn how. But frankly, he is happy with this one.

I just have some vraylights inside the arch and then on the bldg…What other quirks could I add…perhaps a background?? I want to learn how to LIGHT the signs. They are just jpegs from google at a good resolution and then I created the opeacity maps. I tried to make a lighted material out of them and then put it BEHIND the sign. But it just illumiated the transparent background.

Perhaps just splining around the lettering then using a vraylight material on it…But that would be more neon than I want them I think…Anyways…Feedback…comments… and general comments are always welcome.

even at night there is plenty of ambient light bouncing from parking lot lights etc, you might want to up your GI a bit, and throw in a target spot with a .5 hotspot and a 50 falloff or so to simulate a parking lot light.

Yeah there would be a fair bit more ambient light.
And the lights along the ground out the front are a little blown out.
