It would be great if the maps in the mat library folders were named correctly and I know it’s been requested before but some sort of material scale would be great too!

As you noted, this has been requested before, and is probably not going to happen any time soon because of licensing reasons (unless some better solution is established).
As to the “material scale” - can you explain what exactly you mean? Do you mean some information at what scale the material should be displayed? So for example a material would be named “concrete 2x2m”?

Yeah the scale that it should be uv mapped at is correct. I mean for the maps could you at least use say a random number and then _b _g _nrm etc just to define the maps that go together as one material?
Why do you need proper names for Corona assets? Since they can’t be used outside of Corona material library content, their name shouldn’t matter.
The main issue we’ve found is that there’s no path name used for any of the maps when you bring a material in… so technically anything you bring in to a scene is a bunch of missing maps.. so we have to use relink bitmaps on every single material to ensure they’re mapped to the absolute path. Huge pain. Can this be fixed?
Im not sure if its a daily build issue but ive had times when ive used a daily and then installed the release and the maps are missing because the names have changed. having some sort of identifier to remap them would be useful in that instance.

The names were changed in daily builds once, because some users complained that they were way too long.
Perhaps i was just unlucky and had that exact daily then haha

Quite possibly. Even so it would be useful to know which bump goes with which diffuse etc even if they are still named with random numbers
