points and comma's in max

Hi,

I had to format my pc, and now all points “.” in max (in all values) became comma’s “,”

So when I want to set for example glossy to 0.4 with the numpad, max doesn’t accept this value because I need to write 0,4. I changed some options in my control panel-keyboard settings, but then I have problems in other programs (adobe). So what I want is that my numpad writes points and not comma’s when I use it (I can achieve that, but all values in max stay in comma’s, before the format everything was written with points)

any suggestions on how to get points instead of comma’s in max? Is it maybe a max setting?

Sounds like you didn’t select the correct locale when you installed windows but im not 100% sure

In Windows, go to “Regional and langauage options” you can change the decimal simbol.
