I have been using it to. Its not that far along, and I dont think its ever really supposed to compete with the top dogs. I think what they are trying to achive is a GI solution with minimal effort. Add lights, materials, and render.
They also said they havent did any optimization for the rendering speeds. They are just getting it to work. But beware, its very slow, and doesnt work with like more than 5 lights.
