Premium License broken - Render Node missing & Website Error

Hello,

I am writing here because I’ve been struggling with a critical license issue for 2 days now, and it is completely stalling my work. Support is responding very slowly and hasn’t provided a solution yet.

I have a Corona Premium subscription, but the included Render Node license is not available to me.

Key issues:

Missing License: My local Chaos License Server only shows the “Interface” license. The “Render Node” license is nowhere to be found, making it impossible to use Backburner or Distributed Rendering.

Account Dashboard Error: For the past 3 days, I cannot even check my licenses on the Chaos website. I constantly get the error: “Oops… Something went wrong. We couldn’t load your license details” (see attached screenshot).

Support Delay: I have been trying to resolve this with support, but the communication is too slow, and I am losing valuable production time.

I have already tried reinstalling the License Server and re-logging multiple times, but the problem is clearly on the server side of my account.

Account: a.metsiun@gmail.com

Please, I need a technical specialist to look into my account and fix this “Oops” error so my Render Node license finally appears.

Attached are the screenshots showing the website error and my empty local license list.

Thank you.

afaik you now have to go to the “Organization” Tab when logging into your chaos account. There you can assign the licenses.

I noticed that in my products it correctly says that I have Corona Premium. But where is the license in my account, it says Corona Universal.

Licensing inquiries will have to go through the ticket system, sorry - we don’t have access to those things on the 3D support side. If you include the ticket number we can ask about that ticket with the various support teams to see where things are in the process and to see if that can be handled faster.

Request #463012
Request #462475
I have already sent two requests

Update: It’s been over 13 hours since support (Iliya) confirmed that the issue is a missing Render Node license on my account and said he was transferring the case to the Licensing Team.

Since then, the only ‘progress’ I’ve seen is an automated notification that my tickets were merged by Nikolay Dimov. No actual fix has been applied.

My work is completely blocked, and I’m losing time. Can anyone please escalate this to the Licensing Team so they can finally add the missing license? This is becoming extremely frustrating.

Ticket #462475

I think this is miscommunication from licensing team. You don’t get additional render node when you’re buying a license. You get one render node license, that’s get used for a single machine, and single machine only. Universal license is only for ui itself. So per say, you can render on different machine, while working on another, but not render with both.
At least that how it works for us, you seem to have additional problems.

Anyways whole thing is confusing, cause it seems like you should be getting additional render node. And should be able to use distributed rendering on small scale.
But in the in the end you can’t.
Or if what I’m describing is not correct, and you should be getting additional render node. Then at least from our side. We have small office with borked licenses, that pays additional fee, for separate render node licenses.

Blah it’s confusing, there should be someone from licensing team on the forum.

I thought the same thing. And the AI explained it to me that way. ))) But how come I can’t run Backburner on one computer and work and render on another? As far as I understand, I need to buy an additional node for this.
The website doesn’t explain it very clearly.
The node I was looking for was found. It’s displayed in another window.
So I made too much noise about this))). Sorry.

You know, I don’t think this was too much noise at all. I’ve actually requested changes to the website as I do think the current wording leaves room for misunderstanding, so we hope we’ll make things less confusing in the future, and I appreciate you pointing this out!

The website is updated to avoid the confusing wording. Sorry for any misunderstandings, and thanks for bringing it up!
