Hi, its been long since I havent use Vray much, in Corona theres an option to clear VFB image, I remember that Vray had something similar, and when testing Previous Render I noticed that it doesnt show any change at all, I tried every option with Bucket and Progressive but theres no change, is it a bug or has it been deprecated? or am I doing something wrong? I tested with a simple scene changin colors and lights.
There is a button on the VFB, if that is what you mean.
No, I mean exactly the function Im asking in system options which shows in different ways (as show in the image) the previous render and the new one, I know theres an option in VFB to clear image, I want to know if this old parameter still works with VFB2, if not, it will be better if they remove it, its just a curiosity, though
Use it together with a Render Mask (Render Setup > V-Ray > Image Sampler), and you’ll see that the option works properly. Note that when using a VFB region, the option works only within it. Overall, it’s useful when you want to see what’s rendered and what’s not.
Otherwise, what do you want to do with it?
I dont really intend to use it, it was just a curious question, but its great to know that still has a use. Ill try it thanks, also, that information should be included in the Docs. Dont know if anyone will use it, but, It should be updated.
