problem in Chaos Vantage from Revit

Strip LED
I have a problem in Chaos Vantage: when I export the scene from Revit, the rectangular lights used to simulate LEDs appear as shown in the image. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi vincenzo_ferrara,

Does the LED strip lights render correctly in V-Ray? If yes can you send us this scene or a much simpler scene to investigate on our end?

Best regards,
Alexander

Hi ALexander,

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in V-Ray. I’m attaching a simple Revit model and a vrscene created in vray

Thank You

Dear @vincenzo_ferrara , hello.

If you render the scene with VRevit, are you seeing the same wrong result?

In addition please share the exact Revit version used:

, visible when opening About Autodesk Revit 2026.

Waiting for your answer.

TS

Hi again,

My point is that we have met similar behaviour in V-Ray for Revit (even without Chaos Vantage involved) - logged with REVIT-4759 number in our system.
So I suppose that your case fits the same.

Please be informed that if you are able to use V-Ray for Revit 7 (the official build before Update 1), the issue won’t be experienced.
Unfortunately the support for Revit 2026 has been added from Update 1 on, so to use the software without the following issue you will need Revit 2025 or an earlier Revit version.

I added a note that this issue is blocking customer’s work and the Product team is informed.

Excuse us for the inconvenience caused.

Good morning, how is it possible that every time there are updates, we always encounter problems that cause us inconvenience? We are delivering with Revit 2026 and cannot revert to the previous version. When will the issue be resolved?

I will talk again with the team to speed the fix up.

Hi,

We have a fix. It is included in this stable build Chaos ; uploaded also here.
Please confirm are you able to download it.
If any access is missed, we will provide it to you.

Best,
TS

Great, the problem has been solved! Thanks a lot!

Glad to help.

Enjoy your work now!
