post the sun/shadow issue, it works correctly in all my scenes so there must be something wrong with yours.

The problem this in material EGZ and the Simmian…
When I tested vraymtl, I forgot to mark the Afect option shadows…
This because before when I initiated a new material this option always was marked.
I thank the attention of all… forgive me for the generated upheaval…

we need a new version from egz
I think this is the affect shadows/alpha bug in RC3 when a VRayMtl is inside another material. In any case, it is corrected now, hope to get an update on the site soon.

Looks like this is caused by the bug that Vlado mentioned in RC3. It affects scripted materials, and should be corrected in the next VRay build.
