Problem with v-ray options in SU...help pleeeaasse!!!

I just purchased the newest version of vray for my work and I am missing the option to right click on something and apply a material. I dont even have vray as an option when I right click on something. Can anyone help? cause this is very urgent and I need to get this fixed so that I can get a project out the door. Thank You in advance

I dont even have the option in the material editor to add a vray linked material. I only have add vraymtl, add vray2sidedmtl, add vryskp2sidedmtl, and add vrayangleblendmtl. No add vraylinkedmtl.

That’s because there is no need to apply V-Ray material or link materials with the latest version. The V-Ray materials are now synchronized with your SU materials.

Oh so let me get this right…if I paint bucket a material in SU, it will automatically show up in my vray list and then i can just tweak from there?

Yup. In fact, you don’t have to paint bucket anything. When you create an SU material it will appear in the V-Ray material list.

thats good to know. Ive been working with an older version so that was news to me. Thank you for the help
