Hi all!
I have hit the wall on this one.. I need to create lightning bolts between to moving objects. Digimation once had a plugin called Thor (I think) that did just this, but its only for max 9 to 2008. Any ideas how to create this effect?

The script looks very nice but it does not have support for moving the source and target around. I am trying to build my own lightning rig, so far I have two different ways I am looking into, Building the bolts with geometry or doing it with p-flow.
i agree the digimation one was pretty sweet.
You could do a lot of it with spline ik rigs and some animated nulls?

why not? you can animate the ivy growing… I’m talking about the version for max
You can’t animate the noise on it easily though - the branching is great though.
