Is it possible to set an indefinite period of time for PPT? I remember the sample limit is 65000 but this eventually ends the render at a quality that is still too grainy on high res images.
Is it possible to set PPT to keep going until manually stopped?

Vlado once showed a method for combining multiple ppt renders to get a higher quality, if I remember right he created an exe that would combine them, either that or just eluded to the exe. I am not having any luck searching for the thread though…
Right now this is not possible directly (mostly becaue with previous versions, it was not possible to have more than 2^32 samples for the entire image; with the DMC sampler this is now extended to 2^32 samples per pixel). However, you can render a sequence of images like an animation with “Time-independent” option for the DMC sampler off. Then you can combine the resulting images into one - the program that Eric refers to is called blendimg and I think I still have it somewhere.
I’ll add this as a wish though.
