About to buy/build a couple x2 4200 render slaves and wondering what the recommended PSU would be?
The last x2 i built, i put a 500w PSU in but thats a workstation/gaming machine with a high end graphics card in.
Can i get away with 400w or lower?

they measured pc components for their power consumption:

excuse the strange layout - thought the code mode would use equal spacing :?
depending on your intended system you can sum those up yourself
you shouldn’t run the psu at 100% - lowers its life expectancy considerably
they suggest reserving an additional 100W to be sure (and for future components that will draw even more power)

I have the 400W version of this one and it’s really quiet
I really like my Antec Truepowers. They’ve been in the business for a long time and pretty quiet overall.
