Kaspersky too, works fine.
Kaspersky at work - AVG at home
we use symantec at work and i have avg free at home - never had any particular issues with either.

have used norton’s for years.
what’s kaspersky? never heard of it. is it free?
NOD32…there actually is no competition for the moment !!!
AVG free… what is special about NOD32? I hear there were issues with the Vray license… is that no longer true?
I’ve been using Avast, it works great, doesn’t have the huge screen hogging bubbly interface that most have now, and it works on XP64.
avg free for home ( and office shhhhh.. )
ohh and we/i use kerio free firewall…works well too, actually i think kerio and avg can be had bundled
NOD32 definately…what´s special about it ? well it has an incredible low footprint as of resource hogging, it has the best heuristics out there and since a while works nice with vray when set up correctly

nod32 unfortunately still has problems with vray however my work computers dont touch the internet so i dont put nod on them
I use Bullguard, It’s antivirus, Firewall, antispam and they provide free storage space for backups.
I used all kinds of anti virus and firewall software, and almost went crazy on how it interferes with everything you do. Removed it all and worked more than a year without any protecttion--> no problems anymore.
Then I found avg, which I liked, so I installed that one. Still no firewall though.
I think avg + common sense is a very good option!
Common Sense v2005 for me 
Havnt used an Antivirus program or Firewall for years… infact.. never.
I do have a hardware firewall tho.
Never had any problems what so ever.
Common sense and a little know how… a good combo (even if you do have a Antivirus)
@elf : what kind of problems are there ? i didnt notice any anymore. i´m running nod at home and grab the license at work via vpn from time to time…seems to work fine.

Its only a problem if the licence server is on the same machine as NOD32.
AVG free all the way
I had a friend give me his machine to “clean up” after loaning it to his students for the school year. I recommended to reformat a hard drive and do a clean windows install, but he declined. So first thing I did was uninstall the fully functioning Norton antivirus and installed AVG free. It found 47 viruses that Norton couldn’t detect. :shock:
