Raytracing bug

when I turn on "hardware accelerated ray-tracing" I'm getting these weird spots on the walls, ceilings, and door. i'm using an RTX3070

@Guimuller89 , thanks a lot for your report.

What you are seeing here are simply some artifacts that can occur when using emissive light sources basically as the main source for the whole scene. Self-illuminating / emissive surfaces can of course still be utilized widely, but we generally reccomend combining these surfaces with actual light sources, which should contribute most of the lighting - Doing so should get rid of this behavior.

It’s only indirectly related to the ray-traced sun shadows, as turning that feature on will result in less light leaking coming through walls from the sun during daylight (thus acting as a light source basically), thus you also see more artifacts since the room is now properly lit, as before unwanted light-leaking made the scene a bit brighter (thus also reducing the artifacts caused by emissive surfaces), see the space above the AC unit basically glowing.

Let me know if you’re unsuccessful or any further questions come up what so ever.

Thanks for the feedback. I disabled all self-illuminating materials but the weird artifacts remained.
Then I downgrade to Enscape 3.4. In “high” quality render, the artifacts were gone, in “ultra” they appeared again.

But now I have a lot of light leaking in AC unit and ceilling corner.
