Hello,

I installed RC3 for MAX 8 today.

To test my installation I rendered a very simple scene - just some spheres without materials.

Is this normal behavior?
The scene renders black with DR without a light. On a single computer the scene is visible without DR.

After realizing it was the missing light that produced the black images with DR - I tried some GI:

I checked GI and skylight override and got this results:

I am really unsure about this.
Rendering a sample scene like Chaos: Industry-leading design and visualization software produces identical results with and without DR.

the max default lights turn off when you are rendering with DR, turn of the default lights in the globals rollout to get the same result on a single machine.
