I see that a lot of people outside this forum are already using RC5, and have been using RC4 for a while now. I can’t find these versions on the site… what gives?

Missing all the quantity training one does in winter (for good reason), i am doing it now, with 36 degrees celsius under the shadow to deal with.
It’s the closest to a suicide i ever tried…

As much as we’d like to think that will make a difference, unless he gives it to nobody at all then it will probably leak at some point. Its the nature of software which happens to be interesting.
I really hope its had nothing to do with the delay though, because ive resisted till now other than a quick go for benchmarking (at request) and I really really want it…
a forum cant leak an RC a person who asked vlado for a copy had to leak it. back in the early days we had a couple of leaks but for a time when the beta testing list was really short we had none, but the rc versions are easier to get ahold of these days than the old beta versions were and so its alot more likely it will get leaked.
My reason for informing Vlado (at his request) was so that he can hopefully track down the party at cause of the leak and sort them out.

There were leaks back then too…
It gets complicated too when it is being used in a studio, where I am, I have to trust about 60 people that could leak the RC.
We cleared this problem by hex editing - changed RC5 to RC3
