Hello Enscape Team,
First of all, thank you for the continuous improvements to Enscape. It has become an essential tool in my workflow, especially for interior and architectural visualization.
I would like to request two material-related features that would greatly enhance realism in Enscape renders:
1. Sheen / Falloff Material Support
It would be extremely helpful to have a material option that allows for realistic sheen or falloff behavior, similar to what we see in advanced PBR workflows.
This would improve the rendering of materials such as:
- Fabrics and carpets
- Upholstery and curtains
- Matte paints with subtle edge highlights
Currently, achieving this kind of soft, angle-dependent reflection is quite difficult and the results often look flat compared to real-life materials.
2. More Realistic Fur and Grass Rendering
While the existing grass and fur options are useful for quick visualization, they tend to appear repetitive and artificial in close-up and mid-range views.
An enhanced system with:
- Better variation and density control
- More natural shading and light interaction
- Improved realism at closer camera distances
would be a huge upgrade, especially for exterior scenes and high-end interior presentations.
These features would help Enscape compete more strongly with high-end visualization tools while maintaining its real-time performance advantage.
Thank you for considering this request. I would be happy to provide visual references or examples if needed.
Best regards,
An Enscape user & architectural designer
