I’m having the same old problems with my home machine. Hard crashes when rendering animated sequences. I have decided that I need to do me a rebuild of XP Pro. Does this mean that I will re-authorize my copy of Vray ? I’m using 1.5r3 with Max 8 sp3.
Thanks as always for your help.

It really depends on how close your new setup is to the old one; it may or may not require a new license.

Interesting
Interesting, I won’t be changing any hardware, just killing anything on the C drive and doing a clean install of XP.

Assuming you use the same version of windows and you have the same NIC and mobo, i think your fine to use the same auth info.

If you are only changing a hard drive, the same license should work, yes.

I done a clean re-install of xp 2 months ago and had no problems using the same auth code.
Cool
That’s great news - I’ve been putting it off because of the that
- thanks for your help.
