looks superb.

your door handles look a tad high though

Nice !

I love the brushed metal material

Good work.

Amazing quality and detail. Great job!

Marcoos, great avatar by the way. Delicatessen, one of my favourite movies.

very very nice

images are great!!! congrats but…
your ceiling seems too low, have you double checked it?

a.

WOW…nice stuff!

Thanks guys
Yeah the ceiling is low, i think it was around 2300mm high. The room is part of a converted garage i believe.

Very nice. What is your technique to get everything so brightly and evenly lit?

Excellent work!

Just one thing stands out to me. It looks like you’ve made your kitchen unit doors out of chamfer boxes. If you want to stop them looking slightly bowed out, convert them to editable meshes remove all smoothing groups. Unless they are supposed to be slightly convex.

Otherwise they are great images.

Dan

Great metal materials. Care to share any of your settings? At least your reflection and glossiness settings…

looking really great. Especially like the first one ! and that is because of the black frame, it just finishes the shot. Get it over to all of the renders.

Best regards,
nikki Candelero

Cheers guys, and thanks to everyone on the forum for all the help, its a great lil community

timmatron, Reinhard Colour mapping, saved out at 2.2 gamma then a lil bit of Colour correction.

Dan, Yeah know what you mean, its probably not meant to be convex but i like how it warps the reflection.

Nikki, Thanks man  Good idea! The frames there to cover the cut-out in the wall but i like your thinking..

Clifton, there’s 7 different steel mats but there basiclly the same colour with different reflection glossiness.
R.G.B 55
Reflect slot- falloff map Perpendicular/Parallel
reflection glossy from 0.85 to 1
Anisotropy -0.5
Then just UV map acordingly…

Awesome work man!!
Looks great.

Thanks for the mention

great work i realy like the metal materials.

Hey, Jow, that´s a great job, congratulations!

Anyway, I have a little question… when you mention Reinhard colour mapping, I ask you if you connect it anyway with Vray, because the only form I use it is by saving the image in .hdr format, then opening it in HDRShop, and applying Reinhard´s tonemap plugin to the image.

Do you choose or apply Reinhard´s tonemap plugin in vray´s settings (“G-buffer / Color Mapping” tab or anywhere)?

Thanks a lot,

lmerlos

It will be a color mapping option in the 1.5 release of Vray.

As Tim said
Oh and thanks man

Really Fabulous - no comments!
