Re: Red Pallette Villa
Interesting theme! I’m in no position to comment, but what do you say about putting more bump on the “in-betweens” of the planks? Or maybe just a bit darker stain on the planks themselves? It might work better for the theme.. Sorry I’m just too enthusiatic about this forum. Don’t listen to me! Haha, excellent texture on the sofa!
Re: Red Pallette Villa
Nice combination of colors and materials!
Great granite material, chrome and cloth!
When I make potery materials, I change sometime the filter color.Usualy when the material it’s white,to make ti more interesting. It’s nice, you should make an experiment!
Regards,
Stefan
Re: Red Pallette Villa
stefan, thanks for pointing that Filter color. i am actually doing alot of experiment in using filter map too to create stains and other effects… but yeah you are absolutley correct with that. now the more we experiment the more we can just say how much more things with this soft that has not seen yet here.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
thats ok paulo_kulot. I think I need to tweak more of the wood. the reflection. at first my intention was to make displacement but i did not find it practical. anyway, its actually one of the thing i have learned from these project. My vase is kulot na kulot di ba?.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
here is the full view of the living room.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
Nice work Nomer. Personally, I don’t like the finish of the wood floors near the window, however, everything seems nice.
May I ask the settings of the bump in your couch? Thanks. I’ve been out now for a very long time and I need to catch up from you guys.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
as curly as can be… haha, i was about to ask for a better view, as i was a little lost in the first two images.. resolved! I’ve noticed you changed your background? from mountains to a sunny beach, i never had the same luck in getting my spherical hdri “in-line” with my model.. anyway, here i go again… haha… is that carpet the one you’ve posted in the downloads section?
Re: Red Pallette Villa
yeah! the last view has a bit more light which is very good, nice render nomeradona, great carpet effect also the couch looks pretty good.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
ok let me get it on my computer at home 2nite. and i will send it to you. or perhaps i will upload it on the dowmload section.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
paulo i did not use hdri in this rendered image, the finished rendered was in png file, and then i used a background layer in photoshop below that png file. its pretty easy though.
as far as hdri. i will give you a tip. *turn off the physical camera. if you dont want to turn, you need to give a really high multiplier so that it will appear. the camera is really design to counterbalance the bright vray sun…
the carpet… no its different one.
Re: Red Pallette Villa
thanks nektares…
Re: Red Pallette Villa
Thanks for the tip nomer! Yep I use the same technique with my backgrounds. But stefanq’s HDRI background (and lighting) works are just simply inspiring, aren’t they?
Gonna try that sofa material too, if you upload it!
Re: Red Pallette Villa
i will post later some of my materiasl with hdri lighting. im kinda obssess with material exploration and thinking how to put them in an art form,. jsut watch the download section and keep on bombarding me with that texture.
