Logging on behalf of the user from support ticket #427871
The idea is to have an option to automatically download all assets which are missing in the current scene (reported by the host software’s asset tracking tool). This would be extremely helpful in the cases where, for example, the Cosmos downloads folder was accidentally deleted. We currently only offer an option to recover assets by manually pasting their paths and filenames, which can be extremely tedious and time-consuming.

In some products (V-Ray for 3ds Max and some other integrations, as well as Vantage), when you load a scene with missing Cosmos assets, we show a dialog that allows the user to download automatically the Cosmos assets in the scene that are missing.
So this request is have such an option in all/as many as possible products.
