The original movie resolution is HD720p@30fps.
It took 3 weeks to be finished including rendering time (all started from scratch)
For rendering we used 25 machines Q6600@3.02ghz.
The movie was made by 6 people.
This was our 1st project with the new Vray1.5SP3. Stunning performance!!!

Wow, looks brilliant. I would love to be able to do something like this. Same question as above re the furniture and other features popping into place. How did you do it? Also, if you could point me in the direction of a good tutorial re that I’d be v grateful!
I love your work - you guys seem to have come from nowhere and are producing all this incredible work. Whilst the pop-up book idea and the particle driven (?) assembly sequences have all been done before, it’s rare to see it done as well as this and with a perfectly matched soundtrack as well. Surely a contender for the upcoming 3D Awards!
I’d very much like to know how you went about creating and rigging the pop-up book and how the assembly sequences were produced, if you’d care to share.
loved it - I actually thought the music was fine; quite a pixar quality to the sound, (well, almost ;))
I loved the mix of blatant 2d with the 3d elements, I think that really works well - it’s a truly exceptionally well put together piece.
My only crit was for the intro; I thought the timings of how things animated on was way too slow; the timings in the main piece were great, if a little ‘snappy’ - they stopped all of a sudden, although the pace of the movement was very fast..
Oh dude!! LOVE IT!! I think that might be the first animation I’ve seen where you’re actually accenting the flat 2D people and making it look cool! Real fun to watch and great soundtrack. I hope your client was blown away…
