Found strange bug with reflection. Near 0 degrees angle there is an ugly distortion in reflection present.
Look at video.
There are only plane with “mirror” reflection and sphere with light material. As the camera going down to nearly lay on the plane reflection distorts.
Sample file attached.

I don’t think that.
Have tried to:
When moving the plane away from scene origin, the problem disappears. Fix will be possible, but it will take some time, so stay tuned
but had no successes. More of that. I’ve got an error multiplied with jagged edges!

What is the scale of this scene? Isn’t this something extremely tiny? I will try to reproduce this…
just found the scene

Ok, this is strange… I started thinking that maybe this is something physically accurate, but then tested it with other renderers.
:S

I came across this in a scene with a very flat looking camera where reflections of a car’s wheel looked really strange but thought it’s just the way reflections in Corona works. Never thought of recreating this with a simpler approach, though.
Would like to know whether it’s expected or a bug.

I found it trying to reach reflections of island in the sea with very long focal length camera. And now I’m stuck… HOW it may be???

What if you move the whole scene 50 meters up in Z-axis? Silly idea, I know, but who knows…
