Reflection of a Window in a mirror

Hi all
I have search for a while, but not found such a topic…
I am rendering a simple scene of a bad as you see below.

I have Vray light on my window. The question is why through the window i can see the sky and in the mirror i have this white reflection?
Many thanx in advance!

Do you have “affect background” ticked in your vray colour mapping rollout?

Yes i have it.

what is the max depth set to on the mirror and the glass?

You need to enable reflective gi caustics, which I believe are off by default. Not the photon caustics - the ones in the Indirect Illumination (GI) rollout.

Try unchecking ‘affect specular’ in the light properties.

Thanx all for your replies…
I have tried a couple of things but the true is that by the Vray lights there is a Affect specular option. When the option is off everthing seems to be all right.
I wish u good luck!
I will post the result in the Image uploads section.
C u around!

Hei cubiclegangster…
I have just writing my post and when i posted it i have seen yours - that is the solution
Thanx anyway :stuck_out_tongue:
