Render Farm / Cloud Services

Hello everyone,

I had a question about render farms. For a long time when I needed to do an animation, I would’ve relied on RebusFarm. They’re not terrible and I don’t have an issue with going back to them. however, when I started using Pulze Scene Manager, I also got into using Helio and they were fantastic. Their connection through Scene Manager, their technical support, and their speed were - to me at least - second to none. But with their shuttering as of late 2025, I’m kind of in a pickle as I have a work laptop (for daily modeling and light rendering) and a 32-core Threadripper desktop, with the problem I’m facing immediately is that my desktop will be unavailable to render stills as a priority animation will take over March.

So I guess the question is, has anyone used any other services that may be similar to Helio? Are prices akin to Helio? (I think it was like US$2300/yr on a 2-year commitment which only ended up being 1.5 yrs.) I see that Chaos Cloud still doesn’t work with Corona, so that’s already a non-starter.

Before it is suggested, it will be far easier to recommend a cloud service to supplement me to management than to buy a second or third desktop plus manage all the licensing that goes with it (which will be axed in the near future at my company, regardless).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Tanner
