render pano image with vantage_console.exe

Hi guys？

Is there a way to use vray_console.exe to render panorama image?

I tried to modify the “cam_type” to 1 in vantage file, or “SettingsCamera” “type” to 10 in vrscene file,

But it’s still a perspective camera when running with console.

Any ideas? thanks a lot~

Hi small61,

Currently you cannot render out panoramic, orthographic or cube images from console, we have to implement it and it’s in the TO DO list. The cam_type in the .vantage file is for the interactive mode only and not for the offline rendering. On import we do not parse the “SettingsCamera” “type” from the vrscene file. We will have to implement the other types of cameras for interactive mode, which is also in the TO DO list. We will let you know when this is implemented.
