Hi,
I would like to use Dr to render throught the night some render but i don’t want to wait render and launch every render… i want sleep at night, not wait render..is there a method to create a render queue using DR??
Can i use backburner handle dr queue??
thanx in advance.
currently no.
I believe you can use Batch rendering in 3dsmax 8.
Best regards,
Vlado
In that case you could send a cmdjob off to backburner that would start a DR job via command line, trick would be knowing when the DR slaves were free to start a new job. Some sort of proccess loging could work I guess along with some callback scripts per job. ![]()
have you tested that vlado? I don’t think you can, since it works through backburner. AND if you submit a DR render through backburner it just crashes even if you have nothing else rendering or going on at all.
i would say…if its not possible with dr the use strips…same thing.
strips works fine, only you should precalculate your GI
