render results 1.5 vs 2.0

can I expect THE SAME render results for vray1.5 SP5 scenes calculated in vray 2.0 ?

I read somewhere that VRay 2.0 renders with less noise. In other words you can actually lower some subdivs in 2.0 to get same results as 1.5sp5

Not rly vrat 2.0 is slightly longer from what I read on forum because DMC in some areas is more acurate in dark spots or something like that… cant remember exactly but well only know if some1 do an actual test.. :slight_smile:

I read his question as a quality comparison, not a time comparison

Ouch /fail sory, well still its more detail/accurate because of the modified DMC sampler…
