So the first scene I’ve tried rendering on version 3, half way through the render, the VFB suddenly goes black and doesn’t come back.
I’ve reinstalled v.2 and that rendered fine.

Hi, can you tell us if you are using any 3rd party plugins?
Are you able to share the scene? If not can you describe the scene itself?
Thank you
No plugins out of the ordinary - Just Floor Generator I think.
I’ve sent the scene file for you to have a look at (1543244215_Black-VFB-Scene.zip). There doesn’t seem to be a particular point at which the VFB goes black - I just tried it twice and the first went black on pass 19 and the second when black on pass 26. I’ve attached screenshots to show you.
Reproduced and we found out that is was bloon and glare option causing NaNs. We have logged this into our internal bug tracker. There is also a work around solution. I hope it’ll help you in the meantime.
Work around:
SAve CXR of your render without Bloom and Glare. Open saved CXR in Corona Image Editor and add Gloom and Glare there.
Thank you for your patience.
B&G was culprit. Had happened earlier builds.
The issue has been fixed in Corona Renderer 3 Hotfix 1, and it’s confirmed by multiple users, so I am moving this report to resolved.
If this issue (or a similar one) persists, please be sure to report it to us.
