render with lights takes too much time!!

i’m triying to do some images of a building with some lights and it’s taking too much time. is there any way to make it faster? i have a quad core 6600, 2gb ram, and i put interior and exterior lights in the model, and by the way, haw can i make it look more real? it has to be at night, but i think it does’nt look like that, i’ll try to post some image of my model

thanks a lot thomthom for your quick answer, it was a lot of help for my problem… but my computer is still rendering an image, for more than 25 hours now, it isn’t too large, but it has like 8 omni ligts inside and outside, and a lot of glass and brick material qith bump
