Rendered floor plans and elevations

hi, is it possible for the enscape team to introduce rendering for floor plans, site plan and elevations in revit instead of just 3d views?

Why not set up a camera view from above your floor plan or an elevation view and open in Enscape from that point?

@onemano @DanS_1 you have to use section boxes in combination with the elevation Top view to get those results.

thank you

Another elegant way: Use a rather narrow field of view and the Numpad keys to quickly select the certain orientations.

Are there any gallery examples of floor plan views as the original poster was asking about? I would be very interested in seeing what those look like before I recommend my company to purchase. We are looking for a solution that can render nicely not only in real time like Enscape seems to do, but also in floor plan/section/elevation views as well.

I tried all the various suggestions from here but enscape doesn’t take an accurate view from the top. Like I said In the post earlier it shouldn’t be looked into

@onemano @jmQrsQ I have created two quick examples for you from the Sample Revit projects.

@onemano , what do you mean by Enscape doesn’t take an accurate view from the top? Just press NumPad 5 and you’re right above your project. Could you elaborate what you’re missing?

Thanks for your help. I got it right this time

Kaj:

That is an excellent trick for plans. However, numpad 5 doesn’t work for Elevations.

Thomas Schander:

I’ve tried a narrow field of view and numpad and I can see it lock to four basic orientations. HOwever, still has perspective orientation I can’t get it to be flat like Kaj trick for plans.

Any Ideas?

Thank you

@Carlos_Naranjo The trick is to get way above and zoom in with Field of View in the General tab of the Enscape settings.

This is interesting! Any tips/tricks on how to save or print the image to scale?

Also, be sure you have “Architectural Two-Point Perspective” unchecked when attempting. Hope that helps.

Hi Kaj!
These are nice pictures, but unfortunatelly… I can’t see option and how to make enscape floor plans without perspective… On your pictures is without perspective. How did you make it???
Did you lost that option in next Enscape versions and updates? Could you help US all how to create this view - step by step? ?(

He still has a perspective enabled, he is just far away with a small FOV.

Hi Thomas. It’s not true in the end.
In previews versions of Enscape (I don’t rememeber which one) I did some parallel floor views.
When did you miss it?

I think you need to check it.

We never supported orthographic (parallel) projections. The only way to achieve those images is: Move far away and use narrow FOV.

@Thomas_Willberger Is this “long distances and narrow FOV” calculation problem solved? It’s the basic for this kind of top views or?

View distance is changing light calculation (only wide angle lens works)

Hi Thomas. Thank you for answer but if you’ve never support parallel projections, how will you explain Kaj’s views parallel floor plan ?
