renderer error

Hi!

I got a new PC and enscape is crasching, reporting errors and showing noise. I use Rhino, have tried the solutions to having multiple gpus since there is a internal gpu on the motherboard and it did not work. (https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/multi-gpu-issues/)

The graphic card is nvidia RTX 3060

processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

motherboard: asus TUF gaming B550-pro

OS: Windows 10 Home

Enscape does not report errors if I start with an empty scene but does as soon I load my geometry into rhino. it does allways display splotches and noise even with an empty scene and worse in dark lightning conditions.

the rendering error reads: "enscape encountered an error during rendering. It is using GPU from NVIDIA. the begining of the error code says Vulkan Error fences, something.

Im using a trial version of enscape.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!

I attach some images of the strange graphical artefacts I get, anyone experienced this?

Hi @linushultgren

Welcome to our forum.

Most of this looks like a driver issue, could you make sure you are using the latest NVidia driver as found here for your RTX 3060.

If you continue to experience any issues, please also send in a feedback report via the Enscape Feedback Button and add a link to this thread in the description.

Thank you,

Now I updated to the driver you recommended and I dont get the error message, but still the strange noise and light effects, how can I solve this? I sent a feedback report using feedback button now. hope you can help! thanks in advance.

And now I got the error again when changing time of the day.

@linushultgren , in that case, please kindly send in a further report by just clicking the very first option “Close Enscape and send feedback.” We should then be able to analyze your log files to troubleshoot the cause behind this - in case you have not received a response/solution through our support team yet anyway.

In order to assist you further with this problem, please also submit us a feedback report with logs as detailed here:

https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button/

Whenever you experience crashes in general or technical issues it’s recommended to make use of this feedback button as it also directly transfers all the necessary log files and machine information to allow for further troubleshooting. Thank you in advance.
