Rendering Phoenix FD over the farm

Hey,

I am trying to render a scene that includes a Phoenix FD smoke sim over our local rendering farm, but everything renders fine except the smoke is not rendering. how can i fix this? i am using Vray 3.40.03.

hi,
the usual issue for me with this is the input section, i have to specifically select the input first file from disk rather than leave it on `$(same_as_output)`.
might be the culprit. ?

Yes make sure your path to the sim cache files are accessible by the render slaves, I have my PHX set to go to a drive I have setup specifically for the cache files that’s shared on my network like the materials. Also make sure everything is running the same build.
