Rendering still going on

Hey Corona team !
after months of work on the latest versions of Corona, one thing is still super boring and laggy : no sign when the interecative render is ON.
Before we got the smiley turning, now… nothing.

Sometime pressing stop in VFB doesnt work (because it’s laggy) and reducing the VFP while thje IR style runs crash the scene, or make it super boring to stop especially while working with heavy stuff like scatter of bigpoly geometry.

Did you plan to solve this, and set something ? It shouldn’t be that long as it was there before…?

If you want to cancel the render press Cancel instead of Stop. Stop is still processing other things in the VFB (unless this has changed in vfb2).

Ideas only show on the Portal once they are approved (let’s us check for accidental duplicates, and on very rare occasions simply Decline an idea that can’t happen at all for some reason), so when you first post the Idea the link to it won’t work.

Can you explain what exactly you mean by “reducing the VFP”? Also, Corona should never crash, so if it is crashing for you, please contact us about it here: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Well, sometimes when the IR is ON, when reducing the VFB or doing something with the interface like opening render setup menu, or modifying the scene, it’s too heavy change to handle and it bugs.
