What’s the trick to correctly rendering an xgen cache that’s been converted to vrmesh using ply2vrmesh? I’ve tried adjusting every setting I can see in the vraymesh node and even applying a VrayRenderableCurve to the cache.
I’m converting my xgen abc caches to vrmesh because, in large scenes (several hundred instances), the abc cache is falling out of sync with the other mesh caches (12 frame run cycle) which are all vrmesh.
Thanks, Algehov! I started experimenting with vrscene yesterday and after some initial speed bumps, I think I have something that will work.
It’s a bit of a bummer that vrscene animation doesn’t playback consistently in the viewport. Makes it difficult to check for foot slipping prior to render.
