Replaced motherboard- can't re-activate license

Hi, as title says we rebuilt the computer replacing a motherboard last Friday and I need to re-set my License. I have sent a request for help over the weekend but as i’m ahead in Australia I guess no-ones there to respond. I really need to get some work out so your response would be appreciated.

I see this is a very common issue and its happened to me twice in the past. Surely there’s a way we users can do this ourselves without needing to ask Enscape to reset it?

Hi @Bockarch and welcome to our Forum.

Your license has already been reset around 8 hours ago by our support team so please try to activate Enscape once more just in case you haven’t yet.

As per the e-mail we’ve sent, please simply make sure to revoke your license beforehand prior to replacing your machine, or components of it.

If you have any further questions or inquiries please let me know.

Thanks Demian, it is now working again, thanks.

I have been advised this before, however when the motherboard fails there is no warning- it just stops working and the computer wont restart. Therefore its not possible to remove the license from that machine.

It would be great if there was a way the user could reset the license after a catastrophic failure such as this. Its now happened to me twice in the last 6 months but in this case it happened at the end of a week and we rushed to have the repairs done but then it was not possible to get tech support from Enscape over the weekend so I couldn’t work to catch up on lost time. Not something my Clients really want to hear!
